My husband and I volunteer at Lee Metcalf NWR.
He does data entries and I man the front desk, and any other jobs that they need me to do.
Every year they have a volunteer recognition ceremony.
This year we won the volunteer of the year award. We was given a certificate of appreciation, gift certificates and this beautiful California Quail statue.
We was very surprised that we was chosen and won.
Had cake and ice cream after the ceremony.

Congratulations to you and your hubby on the award, and most important on being a volunteer. That takes special people to achieve; your hubby and you must be very special people.
